So, What is water damage mitigation?
Water damage mitigation is the process of preventing further damage and reversing as much existing damage as possible from a flood, water intrusion or a water loss. A water loss that is not properly mitigated can develope into a very serious mold issue, affecting the health of you and your family.
Water losses occur more often than most people would like to believe. Bad toilet supply lines break, washing machine lines crack, water heaters give out and pipes freeze every winter.
Imagine returning home from a long day at work only to find 3 inches of water through out the first floor of your home. As it would turn out, the ice machine water supply line has finally reached the end of its usable life. Most people ask themselves, "What now"?
Now is the time to contact a professionally trained and certified water damage mitigation firm. It may also be the right time to call a plumber, or if you don't know a good one, we can always recommend an honest and competent plumber.
Never Cleaner has completed multiple IICRC Certification classes, among them, WRT (Water Damage Restoration Technology) and ASD (Applied Structural Drying). We have traveled all over the United States to attend the best training facilities available.
If you ever find yourself in this unfortunate situation there are some things we recommend you do immediately after contacting us. We always ask that the homeowner or occupant move any "personal" or "sensitive" items in the affected area. We also ask that any firearms are handled only by the owner.
Never Cleaner is a proud member of the Dri-Zone Network. This means we have received the proper training to dry most water losses without ripping out baseboards, walls, and even carpet and padding. This benefits YOU because it means you get your home back as soon as possible. If walls and mouldings were ripped out unnecessarily, the added time to replace and repair them would keep your home open to contractors up to several weeks instead of days.
Another factor in proper drying is the type of equipment used. Many so called "professionals" are 10 years behind current drying technology. Never Cleaner uses LGR and desiccant dehumidifiers in order to bring the air down to the proper humidity levels needed for fast drying. Many companies are still using conventional refrigerant dehumidifiers which are not capable of of the proper dehumidification for quick drying and results in added time on the job. As you know, more time on the job means even more inconvenience to you and your family.
Never Cleaner works with every insurance carrier in the United States. We may not be on your insurance company's PVP (Preferred Vendor Program) but we suggest that you work with a company that is dedicated to making YOU happy. We never forget that YOU are our client and we have a responsibility to do the job right. Our goal is fast and proper drying in an effort to remove the possibility of mold growth.
We sincerely hope you never find yourself in this situation, but if you ever do, you know who to call to get your home or place of business dry and back to normal as fast as possible. |
